Our story begins…. We started with fish…

Sustainable Irish seafood.
A small but Happy team who seriously know their fish!!

The business here at Roberts of Dalkey is built upon its wonderful reputation the business has earned for fresh fish.

Fresh fish arrives daily sourced from Kilmore Quay, Castletownbere and other Irish fishing ports. Local lobster and crab sold while in season.

Achill oysters, Kelly’s oysters, mussels and clams, a mix of white fish cod, hake, haddock, plaice, and lemon sole.

There is always some beautiful prime fish if you’re in the mood for treating yourself to brill, turbot, black sole or halibut!

Fishmonger Open:
Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm

Coffee – Badger & Dodo…

At Roberts of Dalkey, we serve up the Badger and Dodo blackwater blend. This is a seasonally managed blend, that is, from time to time it will vary slightly … we can’t tell the sun to shine and the rain to fall when and where, but in the main it will be a lush, smooth, and sweet body with a delicate but evident acidity.

Never burnt or charred.

Blackwater Blend Milk chocolate, praline, Orange

Easy espresso, soft & sweet in milk.

Your coffee will be made by a trained barista, serving you up your coffee the way you like it.


And of course, we only use the Village Dairy organic milk!!


Fresh Bread & Pastries 7 days a week! from the Firehouse…

AND – in the old style, with no preservatives.


Daily deliveries of freshly baked bread and pastries are received each morning.


A mix of malthouse, rye, spelt and white sliced sourdoughs, ciabattas, baguettes, and a mix of pastry delights but don’t be late our bread sells fast! –
